How does the skills of IELTS writing examiner Fan affect people's daily communication?

The new technology has really influenced the communication between people. Technology has influenced interpersonal relationships in various ways. In my opinion, there are both positive and negative effects.

Technology has had an impact on the relationship between business, education and social life. First of all, the telephone and the Internet enable businessmen from different countries to communicate without meeting each other. Secondly, services like Skype create new possibilities for the relationship between students and teachers. For example, students can now have video lessons with teachers in different cities or countries. Finally, many people use social networks, such as Facebook, to make new friends and find people with common interests. They communicate through computers instead of face to face.

On the one hand, these developments can be very positive. When communication is limited to letters or telegrams, it is much more difficult for people from different countries to cooperate. Nowadays, interactions via email, telephone or video are almost as good as face-to-face meetings, and many of us benefit from these interactions, whether in work or social environment. On the other hand, the emergence of new communication technologies may also lead to people being isolated from each other and hinder real interaction. For example, many young people choose to make friends online instead of interacting with peers in the real world. These "virtual" relationships are poor substitutes for real friendship.

In a word, technology has indeed completely changed the communication between people, but not all the results of this revolution are positive.
