American immigration law stipulates that you need to apply for a US visa to enter or transfer from the United States.

All passengers who transfer to other countries through the United States need to apply for a transit visa before traveling.

Class visa). Transit visas (Class C visas) are issued to foreign citizens who immediately pass through the United States and continue to transfer to other countries. In most cases, applicants who meet the requirements of transit visa also meet the requirements of B 1/B2 visa (business and

Tourist visa) and get a B 1/B2 visa instead of a transit visa. Passengers with a valid B 1/B2 visa do not need to apply for a transit visa if they want to transit in the United States.

All transit visa applicants should be prepared in advance to present the following materials and any other supporting materials related to visa application during the interview:

1. Valid passport: If your passport will expire or be damaged within six months of your expected arrival in the United States, or there is no blank visa issuance page on your passport, please apply for a new passport before coming for an interview.

2. A photo: a 5×5cm square color front photo taken within 6 months. Please paste the photo on the DS- 156 electronic visa application form with glue. Please see the photo requirements for details.

3. Original visa application fee receipt:

You can pay a visa application fee of RMB 904 at any branch of China CITIC Bank in China (effective from July 24th, 2008). Non-immigrant visa applicants now fill in the DS- 156 electronic visa application form.

After writing and printing, the application fee receipt must be pasted on the last page of the form. Please be careful not to block the barcode area when pasting the receipt, and do not paste the receipt with staples or glue (glue stick).

4. Completed visa application form: DS- 160 non-immigrant visa application form.

5. transit certificate from the United States: prove that the purpose of your application for a transit visa is to continue to transfer to other countries through the United States immediately, such as travel schedule and air ticket reservation, which indicate that you need to transit through the United States.

6. proof that you can enter other countries: prove that you will be allowed to enter other countries after passing through the United States, such as the entry visa or entry permit of that country.

7. Strong binding proof in China: Produce economic, social, family or other binding documents to help prove that you are willing to return to China after a short stay in the United States.

8. Employment certificate: Applicants who need to transit the United States for business purposes should bring a letter of certification issued by their employers to confirm that you work in the company and indicate your job title.

You must be prepared in advance so that you can reasonably explain your purpose of coming to the United States and the reason for returning to China during the interview, and show relevant evidence to prove your statement.

I suggest that you be sure to find out the visa situation when you make an international air ticket in the future. For example, in the United States, Britain and other countries, transit must have a visa!
