I'm going to New Zealand on June 6th. I heard that cigarettes there are very expensive. I want to bring some boxes of cigarettes from China, but I'm afraid my father will find out that I have cigarettes. Will it be discovered during the security check?
You can bring two things into the country. If you want more than two things, you must declare/pay taxes. There's no problem leaving China Customs. You won't find it unless your father is at the security check, or your father will check you before going out. :)
If you are a heavy smoker, two cigarettes are really a drop in the bucket. If the landlord wants to take root in New Zealand, he will quit smoking for the sake of his parents' money and his health, and many young people around him will eventually quit smoking.
