Ni Ping, born on February 1959 in Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, China, is a host, actor and writer, and graduated from Shandong Art Institute. 1983, Ni Ping was designated as a national second-class actor. 1990 entered China CCTV and hosted 13 Spring Festival Gala.
In 2003, Ni Ping won the Sixth Golden Microphone Special Honor Award; In the same year, she won the Outstanding Actress Award in the 9th China Film Observation Award and the Best Actress Award in the 10 Peking University Student Film Festival for her "Beautiful Feet".
