Brief introduction of Datian town

Datian Town is located in the northeast of Dongfang City, a tropical coastal city, with a distance of 13km from the urban area. Datian Town was merged from Datian Township and Baoban Town in 2002. It is an important township and tropical high-efficiency agricultural planting base in the suburbs of Dongfang City. The town covers an administrative area of 302.8 square kilometers and governs 24 administrative villages and 26 natural villages, with a population of 27,000, including about 25,000 agricultural people. There are 34 grass-roots party organizations, including 9 government branches, 24 rural branches and 655 people in party member. There are 10 immigrant villages in Daguangba reservoir area.
