Introduction to Fengshi Town

Fengshi Town is located in the southwest of Yongding, on the lower reaches of the Tingjiang River. It faces Xianshi Township across the river to the east, Qingxi Town, Dabu County, Guangdong Province to the south, and Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province to the southwest. Songdong Town, Songkou Town, borders Taoyao Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, and Hongshan Township to the north, covering an area of ??75.7 square kilometers. The town government is located in Jinxi Village (a new market town for immigrants), 15 kilometers away from the county seat. In 2000, the town had 11 village committees, 33 natural villages (including 7 revolutionary base villages), and 85 villager groups, Han nationality, speaking Hakka dialect.
