South African Defence Force white ratio
South Africa's population is 56.52 million (South Africa Statistics Bureau 2065438+mid-2007 statistics). It is divided into four major races: black, colored, white and Asian, accounting for 80.7%, 8.8%, 8.0% and 2.5% of the total population respectively. Black people mainly belong to Zulu, Xhosa, Swazi, Tswana, North Soto, South Soto, Kanga, Wenda and Ndebele, and Bantu is the main language.
The whites are mainly Afrikaners (mainly African whites formed by Dutch, French and German immigrants) and British whites. Their languages are Afrikaans and English. Colored people are mainly hybrids of white people and local blacks, and mainly use Afrikaans. Asians are mainly Indians (the vast majority) and China. English is the official language. About 80% of the population believe in Christianity, and the rest believe in primitive religion, Islam and Hinduism.
