Entry permit, the full name of which is "Entry and Exit Permit for Taiwan Province Province of the Republic of China", in English: exit &; Entry Permit (Taiwan Province, Republic of China) is a document issued by the internal affairs department of Taiwan Province Province to Chinese mainland (including Hong Kong and Macao) residents to enter and leave Taiwan Province Province.
There are single entry permits, continuous entry permits, multiple entry permits for one year and multiple entry permits for three years. Taiwan Province passport holders do not need to apply for entry permits, and foreign passport holders should apply for visas to Taiwan unless visa-free is applicable. Taiwan Province passports and other foreign passports or travel documents may not apply for entry permits.
As early as 2005, only Hong Kong and Macao residents who have been to Taiwan Province Province can apply for entry permits through the Internet, and they hold entry permits (valid or invalid) when entering or leaving the country. Mainland residents' travel permits to and from Taiwan are valid for five years, and personal travel endorsements (G-sign) are valid for six months.
