One weekend in the twelfth lunar month, I rushed back to the city and invited six people, Chen, Chen, Chen Linping * * *, to renew the genealogy, which was an emergency start for the renewal of Chen's genealogy in Chencun. Although I have made some preparations and made some communication, I still feel a little hasty. I have been studying Chen's genealogy in Chencun for a long time, but my work and life are too busy. As the saying goes, this is a valuable spiritual wealth. Therefore, two years ago, when the village wanted to compile a village chronicle, I responded positively. I made up for my negligence and made some contributions to my hometown and family.

Chen's genealogy is my first consideration in compiling village records, and several other villagers feel the same way. After all, the village annals of Chencun cannot be separated from the migration of the Chen family. The origin of Chencun lies in the Chen family, which is inextricably linked with its development. In the process of collecting village records, it is particularly important to increase the information about the migration and development of the Chen family. During this period, from time to time, descendants of immigrants from Shandong, Henan and other places came to Chencun, Hong Tong to seek their roots and ancestors. What worries us is that although there is a book "Chen Family Tree in Chencun" compiled by an old-timer more than 20 years ago, it does not record the division of ancestral sources in detail, and it lacks a genealogical table of more than ten generations. Tombstones and ancestral temples built by ancestors have disappeared, and there are still many questions to be verified, so it is difficult to provide effective evidence and distinguish people. Especially the descendants of my generation, the migration and diversion are farther and wider, and the clan consciousness is weakened. It will be even more difficult to find my ancestors in the future, which once again prompted me to make up my mind and speed up the pace of arrangement.

For more than a year, after work, I started with the branch of genealogy that has migrated for nearly a hundred years, focusing on the villages near Chencun where the surname Chen is concentrated. I tried my best to collect information, establish contacts, and look for strong evidence clues about the origin of Chen Cun's surname. I am deeply impressed by the hardships of Chen Xinmin's doyen in compiling my family tree for more than ten years. At the same time, he was surprised to find that his perseverance and determination are a good example for our generation. People of insight who are committed to the restoration of genealogy suffer from many intimate stories, little strong evidence and difficulties in genealogy restoration. The restoration of the genealogy began, especially the genealogy of Chen in Fenxi County, which originally belonged to our village and was completed several years ago, including the surname of Chen in more than 20 villages in Huozhou, with a clear ancestral origin. Our genealogy is also recorded, which is a branch of Chen Daoqing in Fenxi, but from their genealogy, it is quite different from our records. Although they are all Chen's veins, they are not very close, which makes me feel a lot of condensation and urgently needs to find an answer.

Just when I asked a lot of questions, the relevant information came from Chen Baihuan's hometown in Henan thousands of miles away. He went to Chencun to find his roots more than ten years ago and called the people in my village online for half a year. Thanks to this new network era, his news is that Chen Degong, the originator of Chen's surname in our village, and Chen Daogong, the originator of Chen's surname, are brothers, and they are one of the Ming immigrants who moved back to their ancestral homes from Hongdong, as well as the road map and genealogy table of our branch. The key is that he provided the real names and general situation of the first two generations of my cluster, which is relatively credible and reliable. Originally, I was Chencun and Chen Yi. After my ancestors were authentic in Chen Hugong, I was a member of the first 17 generations, belonging to the six Chen schools and the Chen family in Huaiyang, Henan. What is even more surprising is that they have been compiling music for more than ten years, persevering and persevering, and there are cluster leadership meetings to be organized and adhered to every year. Although many families live apart and have affairs, there are also many talented and kind people who are willing to stand up and contribute themselves, serve the clan, adhere to fairness and justice, and carry forward the family tradition. This is really gratifying, and what makes people think is exactly what we lack.

As the saying goes, it is unfilial not to compile a genealogy for 30 years, and the last genealogy was 30 years. Most of the insiders who collected genealogies in those years have passed away. The first draft of Handwritten Genealogy and other related materials have been properly kept by the 26th Ren Chen, leaving us many clues to explore, while some predecessors who participated in printing and proofreading, such as 25th Chen Zheqing, 27th Chen Zhengru and 27th Chen Hulin, are still alive today.
