Zhenjiang urban development

The first is to develop industries and improve people's livelihood. Focusing on the construction of "three gardens and two games" (orchard, vegetable garden, bamboo and wood garden, beef cattle farm and pig farm), we will build modern agricultural industrial bases such as famous fruit base, greenhouse vegetable base, bamboo and wood raw material base, beef cattle breeding base and pig breeding base, develop ecologically efficient agricultural industries such as fruits, vegetables, bamboo and wood, animal husbandry, and promote agricultural efficiency and farmers' income.

The second is to promote employment and improve people's livelihood. We will expand employment space through infrastructure construction employment, chemical park recruitment and labor export transfer, and strive to add 500 seasonal and temporary jobs for infrastructure construction, 400 jobs for chemical industry development and 200 jobs for foreign labor export throughout the year.

Third, infrastructure projects improve people's livelihood. This year, we will focus on seven major infrastructure construction projects and the "one pool, three reforms" project, such as the 3.44-kilometer secondary road reconstruction project from Lianghuikou to Zhenjiang, the 8-kilometer fire escape project from Zhenjiang to Shu Ren, the geological disaster relocation and avoidance project in the Three Gorges reservoir area, the regulation project of the 400-mu Yangtze River fluctuating zone, the construction of six new bridges, the reconstruction of 28-kilometer external roads and other traffic construction projects around the reservoir, and build 74 biogas digesters to improve people's production and living environment.

The fourth is to implement policies to improve people's livelihood. We will conscientiously implement policies such as direct subsidies for grain production, direct subsidies for agricultural machinery, subsidies for sow breeding, support for immigrants in the late Three Gorges period, and family planning incentives and assistance, so that the people can enjoy benefits. Fifth, fiscal tilt improves people's livelihood. The town finance will allocate a certain amount of funds in the budget, further increase the funding tilt for agricultural production, rural infrastructure construction and rural social welfare development, and support rural development. Sixth, strengthen security and improve people's livelihood. We will further improve the relief mechanism for social vulnerable groups focusing on poverty alleviation, student assistance, helping the elderly and helping the disabled, further promote the new rural cooperative medical system, strive to solve practical difficulties such as schooling and medical treatment for the masses, and effectively improve the lives of vulnerable groups.
