The Origin of Sangbei Village in Zhibaoli, Chang 'an County

Origin:

In the early years of the Tang Dynasty, the King of Tang gave a village in Sang Bei, Fiona Fang and Fiona Fang, more than a dozen miles to Yin Kaishan, the founding minister. The location of Sangbei Village became the manor of the Duke of Yun, known as Trang Van.

At the beginning of the Song Dynasty, after the feudal fief of Yunguo was abolished, three natural villages were established in the Song Dynasty according to the current situation of people's settlement at that time. They are Nanzhuang Village, Zhongzhuang Village and Yun Bei Village. Because the three villages are adjacent, people are used to collectively calling them Sanyun Village. Later, due to historical changes, North Sanyun was located on the bank of Whale Valley, far away from Nanyunzhuang and Zhongzhongzhuang, and became an independent village, which was later called North Sanyun Village. Beisanyun Village is the earliest village name of Sangbei Village.

During Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, according to Xianning County Records, Sangbei Village was also recorded as Sanyun Village.

In the early years of the Republic of China, Sangbei Village was once called Jia Zhu Village in Sang Bei and Gengjia Village in Sang Bei.

1949, after the founding of New China, Sangbei Village was changed to Zhugeng Village.

In 2006, Sang Bei Village Committee applied to the Civil Affairs Bureau of Chang 'an District for approval on the grounds of strong demands from the masses, and changed Zhugeng Village back to the present Sangbei Village.

The Zhu family, according to legend, lives in the village and is originally from Shandong. During the Western Han Dynasty, immigrants moved into the area of Shangxiazhupo Village in Dulingyuan, southeast of Xi, Shaanxi. After the demise of the Western Han Dynasty, the Zhu clan was scattered, among which the four brothers of Zhumen moved northward to the whale valley north of the current North Sang Village, and made a living by sloping farming, then became a family and gradually moved to the original North Sang Village to settle down. In the Western Han Dynasty, there was a man named Geng Shouchang who was appointed as the Hou of Guan Nei. His descendants lived in Xi 'an, and after the family declined, they scattered around Xi 'an. One of them, Geng Shixiang, led his nephew, Geng Huiyun, to live in Whale Valley north of Sangbei Village on the south bank of Bailuyuan.
