Shijiazhuang, referred to as "Stone" for short, is the capital of Hebei Province, the political, economic, scientific, technological, financial, cultural and information center of Hebei Province, an important central city of coastal opening and financial opening in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China approved by the State Council, an important commodity distribution center in China, an important commercial port in the north, a national trade exhibition center city, the permanent meeting place of China International Digital Economy Expo, and China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Located in North China, south-central Hebei Province, Bohai Bay Economic Zone, across the North China Plain and Taihang Mountain, it is one of the main producing areas of grain, vegetables, meat, eggs and fruits in China. It has been identified as a high-quality wheat production base by the state and is known as the "northern granary". Shijiazhuang is developed in science and technology and rich in tourism resources.
