How long does it take for silica sol to cure?

The overall curing time of colloid is directly related to the curing environment temperature. At room temperature, it takes 12 hours to complete curing, and all kinds of properties can reach the best state in about 7 days. However, in the heating environment, the overall curing time of the colloid is shortened, and the complete curing takes only 15 minutes at 80 degrees. The curing speed is slow at low temperature, and even the curing is incomplete.

Silica sol is a good inorganic binder. In the precision casting industry, when used in high-temperature baking, the shell has high strength, high casting precision, good finish, small deformation and safe operation.
