What knowledge do mineral technicians need to learn? Excuse me, thank you.

Mineral laboratory technicians mainly perform inorganic testing. According to classification, they should at least master gravimetric analysis and volumetric analysis, and should be familiar with photochemical analysis and electrochemical analysis.

Gravimetric analysis method: This is relatively simple and requires the correct use of analytical balances, ovens, muffle furnaces and other operations.

Volume analysis method: Mainly titration method. You should correctly use acid-base burettes, Erlenmeyer flasks, volumetric flasks, pipettes and other glassware, and learn to prepare various standard solutions, buffers, etc. If possible, you should learn the basic principles of acid-base titration, redox titration, precipitation titration, and coordination titration (complex titration).

Photochemical analysis method: mainly various photometers, which are often used in mineral analysis and the detection of trace components.

Electrochemical analysis method: The most commonly used is pH value measurement, and potentiometric titration. But for your mineral product testing, I'm not very clear whether it involves the use of coulometric method.

Of course you should read the "Laborator's Reader". At least it will introduce the basic common sense and skills of laboratory testing in a systematic and organized manner. Laboratory testing is not difficult, as long as you are willing to learn it.
