What treasures are there in Jingzhou Museum?

The treasures of the town hall of Jingzhou Museum include: Gou Jian's sword, statues, Qin bamboo slips "Sleeping Tiger in a Cloud", a bird drum with a tiger seat, and the skull fossils of Yunxian people.

1, Gou Jianjian, King of Yue

Gou Jianjian, King of Yue, 1965 Unearthed from No.1 Chu Tomb in Wangshan, Jiangling, Hubei. The sword is 55.6 cm long and 5 cm wide. The head of the sword is turned outward into a disc, and 1 1 fine concentric circles are cast inside. The sword body is covered with mysterious black diamond patterns, and the front and back of the sword lattice are inlaid with beautiful patterns of blue glass and turquoise respectively. The whole shape looks noble and elegant.

2, Ceng Houyi Zunpan

1978 Ceng Houyi Zunpan unearthed from Zeng Houyi's tomb in Suizhou, Hubei Province, consists of two objects, with a height of 30. 1cm, a diameter of 25cm, a height of 23.5cm and a diameter of 58cm.

3. Qin Bamboo Slips in Sleeping Tiger Land

Unearthed in Yunmeng, Hubei Province in 1975, it contains a large number of legal documents before and after the Qin Dynasty unified China in 22 1 BC, which is the first systematic discovery of Qin law. Qin law involves agricultural production, market transactions, corvee recruitment, public affairs, ethnic relations and other aspects, from which we can see that Qin law has reached a very detailed and meticulous level. 4. Tiger Bird Drum

Tiger and Bird Drum unearthed in No.2 Tomb of Chu Tomb in Jiuliandun, Zaoyang, Hubei Province in 2002, in the middle and late Warring States Period. The height is about 136cm and the width is about 134cm. Two crouching tigers are sitting on a rectangular base with their backs bent. Six snakes are wrapped around them. On each tiger's back, there is a long-legged phoenix holding high and singing loudly. Ming-feng stood back to back in the middle, with a big drum hanging under the phoenix crown, and two tigers pedaled on the phoenix's back with their front feet supporting the drum stand. The object is painted with black paint and decorated with red, yellow and silver-white multicolor paintings. The stable tiger constellation and the flying phoenix frame show the romance and magic of Chu culture.

5, Yunxian human skull fossils

1989 and 1990, two complete ancient human skull fossils that shocked the world about/kloc-0,000,000 years ago were discovered and unearthed in Liangzi, Quyuan Hekou School, Qingqu Town, Yunxian County, Hubei Province. They were called "national treasures" by Jia Lanpo, a famous paleoanthropologist and academician of China Academy of Sciences, and were named "Zi" according to the naming rules of ancient humans. The two skull fossils preserve a complete skull and a basically complete facial skull, and their facial features are consistent with those of ancient human fossils found in China and Asia. After expert research and identification, it is considered that this is Homo erectus about 6.5438+0 million years ago.
