Shandong Water Conservancy Technician College is a higher vocational college that trains technicians, adult colleges and other high-skilled talents, and also undertakes the professional skill appraisal of the water conservancy industry in the province and the training of grass-roots water conservancy transportation management personnel. At present, there are eight teaching departments, including hydraulic engineering department, traffic engineering department, intelligent manufacturing department, information technology department, modern management department, electric power engineering college, general education department and continuing education department.

Shandong Institute of Water Conservancy Technicians was founded in 1958, which belongs to the Provincial Water Resources Department and is under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Provincial Department of Education.
