Guiyang Institute of Information Technology is located at No.8 Siya Road, Huaxi University Town, Gui 'an New District, Guizhou Province, adjacent to Huaxi District, a scenic spot in Guizhou known as the "Pearl of the Plateau", and is also the permanent meeting place of ASEAN International Exchange Week. School history

The school's predecessor was the College of International Cooperation of Guizhou University of Technology, which was founded in 200 1. In 2004, it was renamed as Mingde College of Guizhou University of Technology; In September 2004, Guizhou University and Guizhou University of Technology merged to form a new Guizhou University, and Mingde College of Guizhou University of Technology was renamed as Mingde College of Guizhou University.

On September 20 13, Guizhou University, Taihao Group and Mingde College of Guizhou University signed a cooperation agreement, and a new mechanism was held. On April 20 14, the new campus of West China University Town in Gui 'an New District started construction; 20 17 fully stayed in the campus of west China university town; 202/KLOC-approved by the Ministry of Education in October and May, and approved by the provincial people's government in August, it was officially transferred to Guiyang Information Vocational and Technical College.
