Suzhou Technician College is a full-time comprehensive technical school, which trains high-skilled talents to adapt to regional economic development. The target of enrollment is the graduates of previous junior high schools and senior high schools, who train intermediate workers or senior workers, which is equivalent to secondary school or college education, but not full-time unified recruitment of college education. Suzhou Technician College, founded in 1960, is a public full-time technical college under Suzhou Human Resources and Social Bureau. In 2009, the college moved into the new campus of the North District of the International Education Park, and operated integrally with the Suzhou Public Training Base. The college has four training centers, namely, modern manufacturing, creative service technology, information technology and comprehensive technology, 147 in-school training room for high simulation, 123 multimedia classroom for standardized theory courses, and 90,000 paper books in the library. There are 26 skilled majors, provincial key majors 10, 7 provincial demonstration majors and 5 national demonstration schools.
