I think the requirements for becoming a milling machine operator are:

1) has certain theoretical knowledge, such as NC programming, NC operation, NC simple maintenance, etc.

2) have some practical experience, if not, you can make up a little during the internship, but practical experience.

It doesn't mean you can have it in one day, but you should constantly sum it up.
