Is the major in college really important for finding a job?

It's helpful to your work, otherwise four years of college is really wasted. Your major is a process of understanding in college, and it is also the key to getting started, if you are not proficient. At the same time, we are also very clear that few people engage in their own majors after graduation, and most of them have jumped ship. The reason for job-hopping is realistic. A series of problems such as low salary, difficult employment and small room for growth are the reasons for our job-hopping.

But what you learn in your major is really useful to your life. It will help you at different times. For example, when I was studying food science, I found those glass instruments that I used to be familiar with during my internship, which can provide a lot of help to my work. But also because the space of the internship unit is too narrow, I am losing interest in my major bit by bit. Then, it is boring to think that I will stay in the same laboratory in my future work. So after the internship, I ended my professional knowledge and devoted myself to other industries.

Because in addition to professional knowledge, I also learned a lot of abilities in college. Whether dealing with various students, greeting teachers or managing younger brothers and sisters, I am used to using my interpersonal relationship to meet different new people and learn something from them, something I lack.

So in addition to our own professional knowledge, there are also those abilities, adaptability, learning ability, communication ability and so on, which are of great help to our employment.
