According to the overall planning of Suzhou city, Xiangcheng District shoulders the heavy responsibility of "expanding to the north" of Suzhou city. During the transition from June 5438, 2006 to February 2006, Xiangcheng Economic Development Zone started the development and construction of Caohu Industrial Park. Since last year, Caohu Industrial Park has implemented "nine connections and one leveling" projects such as roads, power supply, heating, drainage, sewage, natural gas, posts and telecommunications, cable TV and land leveling in the 33 square kilometers of the first-phase start-up area, and built Caohu Garden, Chaoyang Industrial Plant and Jisu Building, Caohu Mansion, Science and Technology Pioneer Park, sewage treatment plant, Caohu Cofferdam earth-borrowing project and Binhai Caohu School. This year, Caohu Industrial Park has started the construction of farmers' market, supporting public construction, road greening and lighting projects, and the "four networks" projects of 6,543.8+0.5 million tons sewage plant and sewage pipe network, natural gas pipe network, self-provided water pipe network and 165.438+00 kV Nihui substation line.
