Basic information about the Guangdong Shenzhen Huateng Chess Club team

The club aims to popularize chess education, promote chess culture, cultivate chess seedlings, and discover chess talents. It is engaged in chess-related technical consulting, talent training, event organization and planning, product promotion, etc. matters.

The club specially invites international grandmaster Wang Zili as its head coach. It also has a group of professional chess players and some professional coaches registered with the China Chess Association. At the same time, there are also amateur experts as full-time or guest coaches!

Since the club started operating in September 2005, it has cooperated with nearly 80 schools, kindergartens, enterprises and institutions in Shenzhen to carry out chess promotion activities, and also actively organized students to participate in various competitions Activities and achieve excellent results!

In July 2009, Huateng represented Shenzhen in the 2009 National Chess League B and won the championship in one fell swoop, becoming the first National Chess League A team in Shenzhen history!
