Hechuan is a prefecture-level city in Chongqing, which is at the same level as the prefecture-level cities in other provinces. It is located in Hechuan, north of Beibei, at the intersection of Jialing River, Qujiang River and Fujiang River, and it is a city under separate central planning in northern Chongqing. The whole area is 2356.2 1 km2, and it governs 23 towns, 7 sub-district offices, 1 industrial park, ***524 villages and 82 neighborhood committees. The total population of the whole region is 1.54 million, and its long history has nurtured splendid culture. Hechuan has eight scenic spots open to the outside world, such as Fishing Town, Laitan Ancient Town, Shuanglong Lake, Yunmen Mountain, Shui Bo Cave, Duo Long and Gusheng Temple, and three national key cultural relics protection units, such as Fishing Town Ancient Battlefield Site, Laitan Two Buddhas Temple Cliff Statue and Caojie Yucai School Site. Chongqing's only "double national treasure" fishing city is a national key cultural relics protection unit and a national key scenic spot protection area, 5 kilometers away from Hechuan city, with Jialing River, Fujiang River and Qujiang River at the mouth of the sea. The terrain is extremely dangerous and magnificent. The old castle, a military facility in the Song Dynasty, is well preserved and has many places of interest, which is a combination of hero, wonder, danger, beauty, war, antiquity and concealment. Laitan Ancient Town, together with Zhouzhuang in Jiangsu and Lijiang in Yunnan, was rated as one of the top ten historical and cultural towns in the first China, and it is one of the most beautiful villages and towns in China/KLOC-0. The "Mo Yan statue in Laitan" (Two Buddhas Temple) in the town is a treasure of stone carving art in the Song Dynasty, and its appendages include ancient crocks, old streets, stone archways in the Ming Dynasty, stupas and ancient theaters in the Qing Dynasty. Shuanglong Lake Scenic Area has beautiful natural scenery and rich historical sites. The water surface of the lake area is more than 7,000 mu, with deep and tortuous branches, rich and excellent water resources and shady trees along the coast. Yunmen Mountain, Shui Bo Cave and Duo Long Mountain, the municipal scenic spots in Hechuan, have their own characteristics. Gusheng Temple, Caojie (the former site of Tao Xingzhi Yucai School) has been renovated. Shiquan Resort and other farmhouses are in the countryside, and fishing and tasting farm dishes are fun.
