What are the cities around Chengdu?

To the north of Chengdu are Deyang and Mianyang, and the famous Sanxingdui Ruins Museum is in this direction.

Dujiangyan City is in the northwest, and Dujiangyan Scenic Area and Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area are here.

After Dujiangyan, we continued to the northwest and Wenchuan (earthquake site). It's far from the northwest, so I won't talk about it.

To the west of Chengdu are Ya 'an and Kangding. Scenic spots include Bifengxia, Hailuogou, Luding Bridge, Tagong Lake and Niubei Mountain (not officially opened). To the south of Chengdu are Meishan, Leshan and Emei Mountain. Scenic spots include Leshan Giant Buddha, Emei Mountain and Meishan Susan Temple.

There are Zigong, Yibin and Luzhou in the southwest of Chengdu. Attractions include dinosaur museum, bamboo sea in southern Sichuan, Lizhuang ancient town and so on. You can also go to Chongqing if you continue to go southwest.

Chengdu is located in the middle of Sichuan Province, in the west of Sichuan Basin, between east longitude10254 ′ ~10453 ′ and north latitude 3005 ′ ~ 3126 ′. The whole city is192km long from east to west and166km wide from north to south.
