Wuxi No.4 People's Hospital Foreign Exchange

The hospital signed a medical exchange agreement with the American Association of Experts.

In 2008, Cheng Zhihong, Dean of the Hospital, accompanied Xu Jianping, Director of the Municipal Medical Management Center, and his party to visit several medical schools in the United States. On behalf of the hospital, President Cheng Zhihong signed a "medical exchange agreement" with the China Association of Experts in the United States. The two sides hope to establish mutually beneficial relations and cooperate together, aiming at improving the level of medical education, research and medical practice and promoting relevant academic exchanges in the field of oncology.

University of Texas M.D.Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor Medical College Duncan Cancer Center are national cancer prevention and treatment centers, which are dedicated to the prevention and treatment of various cancers and are good at using interdisciplinary and comprehensive methods to treat cancer. The center cooperates with well-known foreign institutions, conducts two-way exchange of proprietary technology, and is firmly committed to education, training and research. Its training courses can provide medical experts with the latest development information in the field of oncology and provide them with opportunities to observe cancer treatment, teaching and research in the center. The center has gathered a group of world-renowned clinical medical experts, and its research results have been fully affirmed by foreign medical colleagues.

Under the premise of abiding by the laws of the two countries and not violating the regulations of the medical authorities of both sides, the hospital will send 1-3 excellent doctors to the M.D.Anderson Cancer Center and Duncan Cancer Center for 6- 12 months of training every year through cooperation with the American Association of Experts. Experts from M.D.Anderson Cancer Center and Duncan Cancer Center are invited to give lectures in China every year. The China Experts Association of the United States will also invite hospital medical professionals to participate in international conferences to discuss and exchange information and experience in cancer treatment and research. The two sides of the agreement will increase opportunities for cooperation and exchanges in areas of common concern and interest.
