On the first page of the unified Chinese textbook for the first grade of primary school, five characters are written: "I'm from China". For decades, the first lesson in Chinese textbooks has been pinyin "A, O, E", while the first unit in new textbooks is "Literacy" and the first lesson is "Heaven, Earth, Man, You, Me and He".
Why should we change the traditional textbook writing mode of "Pinyin first, then Chinese characters"?
"The previous unit was all literate, and Pinyin was learned from the second unit." Shuai Xiaomei said that this is actually more conducive to children to complete the transition from kindergarten to primary school, because pinyin is relatively difficult. From the characteristics of children's physical and mental development, learning Chinese Pinyin is boring, which will weaken children's interest in learning Chinese. Secondly, students have known many words in kindergarten, and put "literacy" in many vivid and interesting situations when they enter primary school. The picture is story-telling and continuous, which can stimulate students' interest in learning. Third, highlighting the status of Chinese characters is more important than pinyin. Because Pinyin is only a literacy tool, you only need to master this tool. When literacy enters a benign track, the role of pinyin will be reduced.
Highlight 3: The number of articles on traditional culture has increased, and the first grade of primary school began to learn ancient poetry.
In terms of traditional culture, ancient poems appeared in the Chinese textbooks of the first grade of primary school, while12 textbooks of the whole primary school selected 124 excellent ancient poems, accounting for 30% of all selected articles, which was 55 more than the original People's Education Edition, with an increase of 80%, with an average of about 20 articles per year. Junior high schools also have 124 preferred poems, accounting for 5 1.7% of all selected poems, which is also improved compared with the original People's Education Edition, with an average of about 40 poems per grade.
Shuai Xiaomei said that the styles of ancient poetry in the new textbook are more diverse, from the Book of Songs to poems in the Qing Dynasty, from ancient customs, folk songs, metrical poems, quatrains to lyrics, from essays of various factions to historical essays, from papers in the Han Dynasty to ancient prose in the Tang and Song Dynasties and novels in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At the same time, revolutionary traditional education also accounts for a large proportion, with 40 primary schools and 29 junior high schools.
"Chinese, as a mother tongue course, should be used to inherit excellent traditional culture." Shuai Xiaomei said that the "unified edition" began to select ancient Chinese from the third grade of primary school, while the old textbooks only appeared in the fifth grade of primary school.
Highlight 4: Add "I love reading" column? But the content is forbidden to enter the exam.
The new textbook advocates reading, which emphasizes the reading of the whole people and encourages extracurricular reading, hoping to improve the reading literacy of the people.
"This is what the previous textbooks lacked. We specially added the reading column" I love reading ". Shuai Xiaomei said that many of Lu Xun's works are still being discussed online and have withdrawn from Chinese textbooks. In fact, the content of revolutionary traditional education also accounts for a large proportion. In the whole set of teaching materials, there are 9 works by Lu Xun, including Hometown, A Chang and Shan Hai Jing.
Why should news links unify Chinese textbooks?
