The Human Resources of Jiangdong New Town

There are 39 colleges and universities including Zhejiang University and more than 20 vocational and technical schools in Hangzhou. The University Town, which is separated from Dajiangdong by a river, is the largest higher education park in Zhejiang Province at present, with 14 universities and nearly 200,000 students, providing sufficient human resources for the gathering area. The gathering area has also established Linjiang College in cooperation with Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College and Hangzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology to train talents in a targeted manner. There are labor security stations and labor market in the agglomeration area, which provide enterprises with one-stop services in talent, employment and labor resources. The Education Department of Zhejiang Province also organized 106 universities and Linjiang High-tech Industrial Park to set up Linjiang Center of Industry-University-Research Alliance of Zhejiang universities. Industry-University-Research cooperation will promote innovation and development, industrial transformation and upgrading, and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
