Russian band 4 exam

This syllabus is suitable for students who have completed the basic stage of Russian major in colleges and universities (that is, the fourth semester).

The nature and scope of the examination

The CET-4 test for Russian majors basically belongs to the reference standardized test based on the syllabus, and the scope of the test does not exceed the content stipulated in the basic stage of Russian teaching.

Examination time and implementation

The CET-4 for Russian majors is held on the last Saturday of May every year. Under the leadership of the Russian Group of the Professional Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee, it is organized and implemented by the Russian Professional Testing Group.

Propositional principles and forms

The CET-4 for Russian majors should not only examine students' mastery of language and other knowledge, but also their ability to use these knowledge in listening, speaking, reading and writing, mainly examining students' ability. The proportion of knowledge items and skills items in the test questions is roughly 40% and 60% respectively.
