Do community volunteers have any job requirements?

What are the basic requirements for becoming a volunteer? (1) must be a China youth over 18 years old. Citizenship was acquired at the age of 18. At this age, young people not only have knowledge and skills, but also have the possibility of serving others. Of course, there are also many young people (including middle school students) under 18 and middle-aged and elderly people over 35 who are willing to engage in volunteer activities and help others within their own capabilities. We encourage and praise them, welcome them to participate in youth volunteer activities, and award honorary titles to those who do well.

(2) Must have the professional skills to serve the society. Volunteers must have the basic conditions and skills to serve the society. For example, because most volunteer activities are free, amateur and long-term activities, volunteers are required to have enough spare time and material foundation to ensure long-term participation in unpaid activities. Without this basic condition, it is very difficult to persist in voluntary activities for a long time. For another example, volunteers engaged in various professional skills services will not be at a loss in the process of volunteering only if they have basic professional skills. From this perspective, volunteer activities put more emphasis on doing what one can.

(3) Must have good ideological and moral quality and professional ethics. Because voluntary activities advocate selfless dedication, solidarity and friendship, and help others, and most voluntary activities are long-term door-to-door activities, volunteers are required to have good ideological quality and moral level to ensure the healthy development of voluntary activities.
