Dalian University of Technology, referred to as "Dagong", located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). The Ministry of Education and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense have jointly established universities, and the Ministry of Education has jointly established universities with Liaoning Province and Dalian City.
