Development course of Datang Huaibei Power Plant

Since the early 1980s, Datang Huaibei Power Plant, known as "Anhui Electric Power Experimental Field", has pushed Anhui electric power enterprises into a market economy, taking the lead in taking a difficult step in enterprise reform. 1982, the Ministry of Water and Electricity was listed as the first batch of comprehensive improvement enterprises in China, and its management moved towards modern management. In the mid-1980s, Anhui electric power system took the lead in implementing the "factory director responsibility system", and 1989 was promoted to a provincial advanced enterprise. In 1990s, the management and reform of enterprises increased year by year. 1993 promoted the reform of "labor and personnel wage system", which broke the "iron rice bowl" in one fell swoop, greatly streamlined the organization, and implemented full-time labor contract system for more than 2,800 employees in the whole factory. Datang Huaibei Power Plant, in step with the construction of material civilization, intensified the quality education of its employees, and initiated the ideological and political projects of comprehensive quality education such as "1,000 employees entering the barracks" and "3,000 employees entering the classroom". The vigorous campaign of striving for Excellence began, and a lot of manpower, material resources and financial resources were invested. Money for soy sauce can't buy oil, and the standardization work has developed to the extreme. On February 29th, 2002, the factory was transferred from Anhui. The factory director Sheng Qiuhai became a red top businessman. Later, more than 60% workers in the whole factory worked around to support themselves.

In 2005, new leaders Chang Naibao and Guo Shixin led all employees of Datang Huaibei Power Plant to actively raise funds to build two 350MW cogeneration units and two 600MW ultra-supercritical units in the former site of Phase I and Phase II, relying on the national policy of energy conservation and emission reduction. Develop the tertiary industry, expand international business, take the lead in opening up the market, and bring Datang Huaibei Power Plant back to life on the verge of bankruptcy. Hushan power plant will be put into operation in 20 13, and Datang Huaibei power plant will usher in new glory with a brand-new attitude in the near future.
