Why did Yingshan change its name to Guangshui?

Yingshan county City, Hubei Province withdrew its county to set up a city 1988, and Guangshui City was established.

Historical evolution:

1949 On March 30th, Yingshan was liberated, and yingshan county was restored in May, belonging to Xiaogan District.

1959 65438+February, Xiaogan area was revoked and changed to Wuhan city.

County-level cities under the jurisdiction of Hubei Province, managed by Suizhou City, are located in the eastern part of northern Hubei, bordering Pingjingguan and Wushengguan in Henan Province.
