In order to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the people in our town, the town party committee and the town government made the construction of Dongsheng Library Branch one of the ten people’s livelihood issues in our town in 2014 at the beginning of this year. The library branch is constructed according to the standards of municipal branch libraries, with a construction area of ??4,800 square meters and a 6-story building. The second floor of the building is the first phase of the project (an area of ??800 square meters), which is divided into a book collection area, an exhibition area, a service area, a search area, a multimedia area, a children's reading area, and an adult reading area. In terms of hardware configuration, the library has a total standard collection of 60,000 books, and currently has a collection of 35,000 books, 100 reading seats, 12 electronic reading computers, and is equipped with a 12M optical fiber network to facilitate readers' online reading and inquiry. . In order to better serve the masses, our town openly recruited three full-time librarians and conducted a one-week municipal business induction training for them.
