The examination contents of institutions in different regions of China are different, taking the examination of institutions in Shanghai as an example;

The written examination subjects of open recruitment staff in Shanghai institutions are divided into "Basic Quality Test" and "Comprehensive Application Ability", both of which are closed-book examinations.

(1) "Basic Quality Test" mainly measures the basic quality of candidates, their understanding and mastery of basic knowledge and their comprehensive application ability. The Basic Quality Test is an objective test, with a time limit of 90 minutes and a full score of 100.

(2) "Comprehensive application ability" mainly measures candidates' reading comprehension ability, comprehensive analysis ability, problem-solving ability, writing expression ability and familiarity with basic official document writing knowledge. "Comprehensive Application Ability" is the subjective question, the examination time is 120 minutes, and the full score is 100.
