Kaifeng Engineering Vocational College (to be established) is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college with engineering as its major, which was approved by Kaifeng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and officially listed in the Tenth Five-Year Plan of Henan Province on 20021.

By 2023, the school will be located in the south of the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Xiangfu District, Kaifeng, with a planned total area of 509 mu and a construction area of 330,000 square meters, which can accommodate10.5 million students.
