Physical examination contents include: measuring height, weight, blood type, vision, blood pressure, chest X-ray, electrocardiogram, blood test (three positive), urine test, ear, nose and throat and other routine items.

The physical examination personnel of the institutions affiliated to the city, urban area and development zone shall be organized by the recruiting unit to the designated hospital for physical examination. Physical examination personnel of institutions affiliated to counties shall be organized by the human resources and social security departments of county-level governments to go to medical institutions with considerable qualifications at or above the county level for physical examination.

The physical examination shall be carried out according to the General Standard for Physical Examination of Civil Servants (for Trial Implementation). If there is an industrial physical examination standard, it shall be carried out according to the industrial physical examination standard (except for special occupations approved and announced by the Ministry of Health, hepatitis B project testing is not required). If there are unqualified people in the physical examination, they can be selected from the qualified people in the physical examination according to the total score of written examination and interview from high to low.

If the recruiting unit or the physical examination object has any doubt about the conclusion of the physical examination, it may put forward a re-examination request within seven days from the date of receiving the notice of the conclusion of the physical examination, and conduct the re-examination after being approved by the competent department. Re-examination can only be conducted once, and the physical examination results shall be subject to the re-examination conclusion.
