Shunde Vocational and Technical College was established in March, 1999. It is a local higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education, managed by Guangdong Provincial People's Government, jointly built by provinces and cities, and invested by Shunde District Government. After years of construction and development, the school has become a national model (backbone) vocational college, a model vocational college in Guangdong Province, and a first-class vocational college construction unit in Guangdong Province. The school, formerly known as Shunde Yongqiang Adult College, was established in1February 1994.
