Police Recruitment Examination-Examination Introduction

Police recruitment is a type of civil servant examination. After passing the police recruitment examination, you will be a civil servant and enjoy the treatment of civil servants.

There are two types of police recruitment examinations:

One is the province’s police recruitment examination;

The other is the reform and training of the political and legal police system. This kind of targeted training means that you have passed the public security department exam, but you still need to study for two years, pass the exam at school, and get a junior college or undergraduate diploma before you can be officially hired as a police officer.

According to the "Notice on the Work of Grassroots Public Security Organs" (People's Development [2001] No. 47) and the Ministry of Personnel and the Ministry of Public Security's "Measures for the Recruitment of People's Police in Public Security Organs" (People's Development [1996] No. 84), Regarding the spirit of the "Opinions on the Implementation of Provincial Unified Recruitment for the Recruitment of People's Police by Local Public Security Bureaus" (People's Development No. 58 [2000]), the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Personnel, and the Provincial Department of Public Security decided to recruit students from within the national plan of colleges and universities. Graduates from colleges and technical secondary schools will be recruited into the People's Police after taking the high school entrance examination.
