A Dream Process – The beginning of a dream is the pursuit of perfection
1899 was the year Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann met, and it was also the year Miele was born. Two like-minded friends founded the family business Miele with the same philosophy - "Immer Besser", which means "pursuing the ultimate and never compromising". Eight simple words: "Pursue perfection and never compromise" have become Miele's corporate philosophy and have been passed down for 111 years.
In 1900, Miele of Germany creatively used the butter mixer principle to design and manufacture a wooden barrel washing machine. Since then, Miele's creativity and innovation have become the focus of attention. For more than 100 years since then, Miele has been committed to developing and manufacturing top-quality household appliances and commercial equipment, providing the most satisfactory products and services to users around the world. Its supreme status has been respected by the global market.
As the saying goes, "Everything depends on persistence." Spanning two centuries, until today, 111 years later, Miele still adheres to the original family-managed business model, making every effort of this top home appliance king purely to serve better quality, the best creativity and The most complete service. Since its development, Miele has long become synonymous with the best quality, the most precise and reliable, and the most trustworthy brand. This is the only top home appliance brand with presence on 5 continents in the world, with more than 16,000 employees and an annual turnover of more than 2.8 billion euros.
Our Promise to Quality – Commitment to quality
The two founders, Carl Miele and Reinhand Zinkann, have firmly believed that “convincing and persistent quality is the key to success” since the company was founded. Book". In today's era of global economic integration, Miele puts quality first and still adheres to manufacturing in Germany. It has formed 8 factories centered in Guesersloh and radiating throughout Germany. At the same time, Miele has invested heavily in research and development, and each factory is equipped with an independent research and development center to ensure that each product meets the industry's only 20-year use standard in terms of design and quality. Take washing machines as an example. While other brands or independent testing agencies are conducting durability tests of 4,000-6,000 hours of continuous water and power supply, Miele has set a target of 10,000 hours. Calculated based on a family of five washing clothes an average of 5 times a week and 2 hours each time, 52 weeks a year is 520 hours, and a 20-year service life means 10,000 hours. In other words, for every new product developed by Miele, Germany, it will wait fourteen months to ensure that the quality is sufficient to achieve a service life of at least 20 years before it is officially put into production. Accordingly, parts for each model will be supplied at the logistics center of the German headquarters for at least 20 years to protect the interests of consumers. The current fourth-generation successor, Dr. Markus Miele, has always emphasized that it is unethical for Miele to produce a household appliance that is only used for a few years and then retired.
There are countless examples, from the 10,000 opening and closing tests of the oven door, to the 10,000 cleaning tests of the baking tray; from the manual polishing of the range hood to eliminate any gaps, to the inspection of various parts of the induction cooker. Testing of various liquids and heat; from tens of thousands of precise temperature and time tests for cooking various ingredients in the steam oven, to controlling the grinding pressure and water temperature of the coffee machine... everything is Miele's persistent pursuit of quality.
Lead Life's Innovation – Continuous innovation and never compromise
As an industry leader, Miele has insisted on letting people around the world enjoy the fun and joy of life through innovation for two centuries. Fun makes life more elegant and comfortable.
Breakthrough creation, classic and artistic appearance design, and humanized intelligent functions lead the progress of the industry and win countless honors for Miele.
In 1900, the two founders, Carl Miele and Reinhard Zinkann, applied the working principle of the agitator (a rubber bucket equipped with a stirring rod) to their first washing machine, designing the humble cream agitator. For wooden barrel washing machine.
The first washing machine with an electric motor was produced in 1914
The first electric dishwasher in Europe was produced in 1929
The first one was produced in 1930 An all-metal washing machine
A fully automated washing machine was produced in 1956
The first household clothes dryer was produced in 1958
Miele produced it in 1966 Europe's first electronically controlled tumble dryer
In 1978, Miele produced the world's first washing machine, dryer and dishwasher equipped with a microcomputer and induction controller, which refreshed the entire home appliance industry. .
In 1987, the Miele patented cutlery tray in the dishwasher prevents expensive knife and fork collisions, provides excellent cleaning and drying effects, and properly protects tableware. Adding and removing utensils is very convenient and hygienic.
1999 As the manufacturer of the world's first built-in capsule coffee machine in 1999, Miele has achieved expert-level coffee making with precise control of coffee grinding and water temperature.
In 2001, Miele's patented honeycomb laundry drum brought the laundry care industry into a new era.
In 2008, the new 5000 series appliances were launched globally
Using Miele's cooking series, you only need to follow the prompts on the product display step by step to reach the level of the world's top restaurants. Perfect cooking results. Even if it is a range hood, Miele will be inspired by "beauty" - when used, the range hood spreads its wings like a butterfly. It not only has a superior design sense, but also has the strongest suction power in the industry.
Looking at the clothing care series that we are most proud of, as a leader in the industry, the advantages of this series make it difficult for other brands to match. The patented honeycomb drum has an original hexagonal honeycomb surface. The fewer and smaller drum holes allow the clothes to slide gently over the water film. During dehydration, the clothes will not be forced into the drum holes by centrifugal force, thus avoiding damage to the clothes. any harm. The most amazing experiment was to put a blooming rose into a Miele washing machine and select the gentle cycle. After washing for 40 minutes, the rose petals were still standing upright without any falling off. It can be seen that even the most delicate clothes will be treated with spa-like cleaning "enjoyment" and remain as good as new.

In the past two or three years, Miele has been favored by many high-end consumers and top luxury developers in China with its distinguished brand image, ultra-simple electrical design and user-friendly operation methods. "Product design is very important - including how it looks and feels during operation," Dr. Zinkann believes. "Equally important is after-sales service. We will only enter a market if we guarantee that we have professional after-sales service." New market." This is why Miele currently has only two branches in China, Shanghai and Beijing, because we have professional after-sales services and personnel here. After 2000, When Chinese real estate developers first began to pursue high-quality housing, several real estate developers went to Guetersloh, where Miele's headquarters is located. When colleagues at the German headquarters received guests from afar, they truly realized that it was time to enter the Chinese market.
So Miele Shanghai Representative Office was established on October 26, 2004, and Miele Beijing Representative Office was established at the end of 2005. With the in-depth development of the Chinese market, Miele China Company was officially established in June 2008 and officially launched For retail business, Miele independent appliance sales counters were opened in Shanghai Jiuguang and Beijing Xinguang in September 2009.
As a family-owned company, Miele has a global annual turnover of 2.8 billion euros, 75% of which are sold in Europe.
Despite this, the fourth generation of the family is still confident in the Chinese market. They believe that although the lifestyles of Chinese and Germans are very different, high-end customers in China also want to have high-quality electrical equipment, which is different from customers in Dubai or New York. No different. In the past two or three years, Miele appliances have won the favor of many high-end consumers and top luxury developers in China with its distinguished brand image, ultra-simple appliance design and user-friendly operation methods. Through years of accumulation of market experience in real estate project cooperation, as well as the development of the retail market. Miele built China's first flagship store – Miele House in Shanghai in 2010.
The first real estate project Miele cooperated with in China was the landmark mansion Mangrove West Bank in Shenzhen. It started to follow up in 2005 and installed electrical appliances into the apartments in early 2006, with a total of 1,164 apartments. Later, Miele focused on Shanghai, Beijing and surrounding radiating regional markets. For example, more than 200 luxury apartments in total are used in the Park Hyatt Residences and Park Hyatt Penthouses in the Yin Tai Center, a landmark building on Chang'an Avenue in Beijing. Miele appliances. Miele appliances are also used in the chair covers and presidential covers of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Beijing. It is reported that many entertainment and sports stars from the Mainland and Hong Kong have purchased and stayed here. The luxury houses in Pangu Grand View and the Pangu Seven-Star Hotel, which are facing the Bird's Nest and the Hydropower Square, also use Miele appliances.
“Product design is very important – including how it looks and feels during operation,” Dr. Zinkann believes. “Equally important is after-sales service. We can only ensure that we have professional Miele after-sales service It will only enter the market if service personnel are needed." This is why Miele currently has only two branches in China, Shanghai and Beijing, and will set up a branch in Guangzhou next year. Therefore, Miele China will open a showroom when it is confident enough to provide the best after-sales service. Once a showroom is opened, this showroom must be as good as every other Miele store in the world. The same level of excellence achieved. Sometimes, giving up short-term interests and pursuing long-term reputation is what Miele has always insisted on. Dr. Zinkann also emphasized that the German headquarters will not set sales targets for each branch, but will "take care" of the Miele brand. "We want employees in each branch to feel that this is their own business. They can set their own goals and we will accept it. Of course, if some branches set their plans very low, we will discuss it with them. ”
Currently in the Chinese market, there are already appliances developed specifically for China, such as high-power combined stoves that are in line with Chinese cooking habits, super-suction range hoods, and steam ovens that are in line with healthy eating. As Miele develops more and more steadily in China, more Miele appliances suitable for the Chinese market will be released. Miele House - Miele House
In late autumn in Shanghai, the rich yellow sycamore trees with a hint of emerald green line up on both sides of the long street, just like a colorful picture witnessing the vicissitudes of the years. No. 82, Shimen 1st Road, is an old house, where the warmth of a former home was attached. It has experienced ups and downs in the long river of history, and has finally become a passing story. When everything settled in December 2010, we seemed to have returned home through a time tunnel. The same appearance seems to go back in time, and once again open the glass door decorated with dragons, the fragrant fragrance of Cappuccino floating in the air reminds people of the new name of the home - Miele House, and its new owner - German Beauty. The original appearance in the 1930s. When the wheel of time turned to 2010, Eastern culture and Western inspiration met here, and Miele House gave birth to a modern, even futuristic home within the traditional shell. Dr. Leonard Xing Kai, the fourth generation family heir and managing director of Miele Group in Germany, is full of appreciation for this home. “The architecture of Miele House is very beautiful, and the design we made is also very special. The perfect integration of the two shows the unique understanding of home between China and the West. What is particularly worth mentioning is that this old house with a story has as long a history as Miele, and a family once really lived here. . Therefore, our encounter has an unusual meaning, and history and future, tradition and innovation reflect each other, bursting out with new brilliance.”

Therefore, We are more eager to convey this concept and lifestyle to Chinese consumers through Miele House, so that people can personally experience the physical and mental pleasure they get from it, which is more meaningful than simply owning a product." When the butterfly-shaped wings of the range hood slowly unfold, Michelin's three-star cooking becomes your private secret book. The washing machine signals that cleaning is complete. The moment you opened the cover and saw the roses that he quietly placed and bloomed so beautifully at this moment, did your eyes also get a touch of rose? ……

During the war, the Italian people revolted with arms, overthrew Mussolini's fascist regime, sent the Momo to the guillotine, and surrendered to the democratic camp. At that time, the Italian 10,000-ton ship 'Contissar' in Shanghai Port immediately It was automatically scuttled by the Huangpu River to avoid being hijacked by the Japanese invading forces (later, the Japanese enemies spent a lot of effort to tie a cable to a building on the Bund as a pillar to lift the hull and repair it for use. However, after sailing out of Wusongkou, it Exploded and sunk by the U.S. Air Force). Therefore, after World War II, regarding the issue of the disposal of the property of the three defeated countries, the international conference of the democratic countries decided that Italian property abroad would not be treated as hostile industry.
After the liberation of this city, Italian overseas Chinese Tie Erjiansha left Shanghai and the house was empty. In 1953, it was managed by the People's Government and the house base was taken back by our country.
