I. Overview

GH44 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based oxidation resistant alloy, which has high plasticity and moderate thermal strength below 900℃, excellent oxidation resistance and good stamping and welding process performance. It is suitable for manufacturing parts, heat shields and guide vanes of the main combustion chamber and afterburner of aero-engines that work for a long time below 900℃. The varieties supplied are plates, belts, wires, rods and rings.

1.5 GH44 heat treatment system The solution treatment temperature of hot-rolled strip and cold-rolled strip in the supply state is1120 ~1160℃, and the material properties are tested in the supply state.

The specifications and supply status of 1.6 GH44 can supply Δ 4 ~14 mm hot-rolled plate, Δ δ0.5 ~ 4mm cold-rolled plate, Δ 0.1~ 0.8 mm strip, bar with diameter of d0.3~ 10mm, d20~300mm and. After solid solution, pickling and trimming, the strip is supplied; Wire rod is supplied in cold drawing, solution pickling or semi-hard state, and bar and forgings are supplied without heat treatment.

1.7 GH44 alloy is melted by arc furnace, non-vacuum induction furnace or vacuum induction furnace+electroslag remelting or vacuum arc remelting.

General application and special requirements of 1.8 GH44 alloy are used to manufacture sheet metal stamping and welding structural parts of aero-engine combustion chamber and afterburner, as well as installation edges, ducts, guide vanes and other parts.
