Northern Jiangsu Navigation Management Office’s 2010 Open Recruitment Announcement

The northern section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal runs from the mouth of the Yangtze River in the south to Linjiaba in Xuzhou in the north, with a total length of 404 kilometers. The "main channel" of water transportation has an annual cargo transportation volume of 180 million tons. Our office is a fully-funded public institution directly under the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation. It is mainly responsible for the navigation license approval, administrative law enforcement, navigation lock construction and maintenance, lock toll collection, and the operation and dispatch management of 26 modern large-scale ship locks in the North Jiangsu Canal. It manages the personnel, property and property of 10 subordinate ship lock management offices, 4 waterway management stations, and 1 engineering team and 15 units.

In order to better select outstanding talents, enrich the navigation talent team, and optimize the personnel structure, the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Department and Northern Jiangsu Navigation Management Office (a fully funded public institution) is now recruiting staff from the public. Relevant matters are announced as follows:

1. Application conditions

2. Registration

1. Registration time and location

Registration time: June 30, 2010 to July 6, 2010, 9:00 every day 00-11:30, 15:00-17:30 (except Saturdays and Sundays).

The materials submitted by applicants must be complete, true and valid.

2. Registration notes

Each applicant can only apply for one position, and the major he studied should be the same or similar to the required major. The following materials must be provided when registering:

① 3 recent one-inch color photos with the same bottom and front without a hat (write your name on the back).

② Original and one copy of ID card.

③ Fresh graduates: Provide an original and a copy of the "Graduate Two-way Choice Employment Recommendation Form" and the "Graduate Employment Agreement" printed uniformly by the Provincial Department of Education, with the seal of the school's academic affairs department The original and a copy of the transcript;

Previous graduates: provide the original and a copy of the graduation certificate, and the original and a copy of the degree certificate. 3. Based on the applicant’s conditions and the requirements of the recruitment position, the qualifications of the applicants will be reviewed. Applications from those with make-up exam records for professional courses will not be accepted.

3. Examination method, time and implementation method

The examination method is: written test and interview.

1. Written test

The written test is a test paper. The content of the test includes the "Basic Knowledge Test of the Public Security Bureau" and writing. The total score is 100 points, and 60 points is considered passing. Applicants who have passed the qualification review will be notified in advance by the organization and human resources department of the written examination time.

According to the ratio of 1:3 to the number of people to be hired for each recruitment position, candidates for the interview will be determined from high scores to low scores among those who passed the written test and will be notified by phone or text message. Candidates for the interview and written test results will be announced on the website of the Northern Jiangsu Navigation Management Office (www.sbhwc.org) for more than 5 days.

2. Interview

Using a structured interview method, a comprehensive assessment will be conducted from aspects such as verbal expression, demeanor, comprehensive analysis, communication skills, and adaptability. The candidates will be notified of the scores on the spot.

50% of the written test and interview scores will be included in the final score. Graduates who have received comprehensive honors such as school-level scholarships, outstanding student cadres, advanced individuals, or school-level commendations in their majors during their studies will be given priority for admission under the same circumstances.

IV. Admission

After the interview, based on the total scores, candidates for the physical examination will be determined from high scores to low scores in a 1:1 ratio to the number of candidates, and refer to the "National Civil Servants" "General Standards for Physical Examination for Recruitment (Trial)" uniformly organizes physical examinations.

Those who have passed the physical examination will be assessed at different locations. Determine the candidates based on their overall scores, physical examination and assessment results, sign an employment agreement with them, and go through relevant employment procedures. If a candidate fails to obtain a graduation certificate or degree certificate, or commits fraud, violates examination disciplines, or fails the physical examination, his/her qualifications for employment will be cancelled, and candidates will be recruited in order from high to low total examination score.

Newly recruited undergraduates will be subject to a one-year internship period, during which internship wages will be paid in accordance with national regulations. A six-month probation period will be implemented for those with work experience. Newly hired graduate students receive half a year's initial salary. After the trainee period and probation period (initial salary) expire, the unit will conduct an assessment. Those who pass the assessment will be assigned positions and grades. Those who fail the assessment will be disqualified from employment and will be able to choose their own careers.
