Applicants under the age of 50 for Malaysian Second Home

1. Must provide proof of offshore income of RM10,000 or more per month

2 . Must provide proof of liquid assets of RM500,000 or more

3. Approved applicants must deposit a time deposit of RM300,000 in any bank in Malaysia

4. You can withdraw up to MYR 150,000 after one year for the purchase of a house, vehicle, children’s education in Malaysia and medical purposes; from the second year onwards, you must maintain a time deposit of at least MYR 150,000

Applicants for Malaysian Second Home aged 50 and above

1. Must provide proof of offshore income of RM10,000 or more per month (retirees must provide proof of RM1,000 per month) Proof of government-approved pension of RM350,000)

2. Must provide proof of liquid assets of RM350,000 or more

3. Approved applicants must be in any bank in Malaysia Deposit a time deposit of RM150,000

4. You can withdraw up to RM50,000 after one year to purchase a house, purchase a vehicle, fund your children’s education in Malaysia, and medical purposes. From the second year You must maintain a time deposit of at least RM100,000

Malaysia Second Home Application Process

Step 1: Submit the application form "Malaysia Second Home Program" Service Agreement in advance

Step 2: Submit the following information

1. Application (a letter written and signed by the main applicant)

2. A copy of the applicant’s resume, including academic qualifications, work experience, skills or expertise

3. One Malaysia My Second Home application form

4. Three copies of social interview application form Certificate form (one original and two photocopies)

5. Five color passport-sized photos (white background)

6. Certified copies of passport/travel documents (all page)

7. A personal deposit form

8. The applicant’s criminal record certificate (notarization required)

9. The applicant and his family members Self-declaration of health status form

10. Certified copy of marriage certificate (if accompanied by spouse)

11. Certified copy of birth certificate/legal document of dependents (if children are present) /Adopted children/continued children/accompanied by parents), confirmation letter from medical experts/generalists (if accompanied by children with disabilities over 21 years old)

12. Recently Certified copies of bank statements for the past three months

13. Certified copies of salary slips/profit and loss statements/pension for the past three months

Step 3: Immigration Department The unit - My Second Home Center will issue an approval letter to the applicant

Step 4: Within six months after the approval letter is issued, the applicant must come to Malaysia in person and handle the following matters:

1. Set up a time deposit account that automatically renews every year at any bank in Malaysia

2. Purchase medical insurance applicable to Malaysia at any insurance company in Malaysia

3 , Obtain a medical report at any registered private hospital or clinic in Malaysia

Step 5: Submit supplementary documents to the immigration unit - My Second Home Center, the details are as follows:

1. Submit time deposit certificate

2. Submit medical insurance policy

3. Submit medical report

Step 6: The applicant successfully joins Malaysia Second Home Plan
