I am from Yichang. As far as I know, the largest local car seller is Yishun Group. I have never heard of ZTE. Generally, the average salary in Yichang is less than 2,000 yuan. Most jobs above this amount are commission-based. There are no stable jobs in Yichang. Don't look to Yichang for development unless you join a state-owned enterprise.

Doing business in this stagnant place requires establishing connections with large buyers such as state-owned enterprises and high-end customer service.
