Nanjing Health School is a full-time provincial (ministerial) general secondary school and a national key vocational school, which specializes in training nursing and medical technicians. It is the school-running point of Jiangsu United Vocational and Technical College.

The school was founded by Americans in 19 18, and was officially renamed in 1992. The main body of the school was moved from Gulou to Xiaozhuang new campus. The original campus has a training department and is listed as Nanjing Institute of Continuing Medical Education.

The school has set up nursing, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation technology, medical electronic instruments and other medical and nursing majors. The academic system includes five-year compulsory higher vocational education, "3+4" secondary vocational education, part-time undergraduate education and other types, and there are more than 3,700 students in the existing academic education. The school has "Nanjing Renai Education and Training Center", which carries out social training for the whole province, with an average annual training volume of more than 9,000 people.
