Xichuan county economy

In 20 14, the annual GDP was 18 1 100 million yuan, the public budget revenue was 700 million yuan, the fixed assets investment of the whole society was 22.3 billion yuan, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 22,639 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 8,057 yuan, up by 8.6%, 53%, 20% and 60,000 yuan respectively. Comprehensive economic strength continues to rank in the forefront of the city.

Xichuan's economy is dominated by agriculture, and the goal is to build a strong agricultural county with characteristics of "pepper Xichuan, water Xichuan and forest fruit Xichuan". The leading industries are pepper, pepper, fruit, mulberry, aquatic products, animal husbandry and forestry. Featured products are edible fungi, red dates, Hu Sang and tobacco leaves, and efforts are made to build four brands: Pepper, Danjiang Fish, Xishui Goose and Xichuan Daling Jujube. Grain crops are mainly wheat, corn and sweet potato, followed by coarse grain crops such as millet, soybean and mung bean; Cash crops include tobacco leaves, peppers, sesame seeds, peanuts, rapeseed and so on. There are many kinds of fruit trees, but few are produced in batches, mainly jujube, persimmon, grape, cherry, apple, pear, red fruit, chestnut, walnut and apricot. In terms of Chinese medicinal materials, Dioscorea zingiberensis is mainly planted, mainly distributed in Huang Xi Township and Wansi Town, as well as the old city, Jingguan, Maotang and Dashiqiao.

In 20 14, 60,000 mu of ecological industries such as tea, soft-seeded pomegranate, bamboo and honeysuckle were newly developed. Agriculture and tourism are well integrated, and the scale and level of excellent gardens such as Hun Sen Botanical Garden, Zhu Bo Garden, Medicinal Garden and Jinguoli Ecological Leisure Farm are constantly improving, which has become a "win-win" demonstration of ecology and economy. The ecological afforestation has achieved remarkable results, with 320,000 mu of afforestation completed and the ecology of the water-level fluctuation zone restored10.5 million mu. The construction of ecological isolation belt around the reservoir has been promoted rapidly, and the Monkey Mountain Provincial Forest Park has been approved, and the forestry ecological construction continues to be at the forefront of the province. The level of industrialization is constantly improving. In the whole year, 65,438 farmers' professional cooperatives and 80 family farms were newly developed, and Zhao Si Xiantao Cooperative was promoted to a national model society. There are 37 "three products and one standard" certifications, ranking first in the city. Yuan Ke Bio-organic Wheat Base and Beijing-Tianjin-sourced Hairy Crab were awarded provincial agricultural product safety demonstration bases and safe agricultural products respectively, and Lv Xin Bio-Company was awarded as "China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and India designated enterprise". In the Ming Dynasty, handicrafts such as five craftsmen and six workshops in Xichuan spread all over the country. In the Qing dynasty, the pottery industry and the paper industry rose one after another; 17 (1928), Daquan temple artillery factory was established and semi-mechanized production began. In the thirty years of the Republic of China (194 1), County Xinglong Textile Factory, Yumin Iron Factory and Xinghan, Luochi and Yuhua Cigarette Factory were successively built and put into operation. Later, due to the civil war in China, factories closed down one after another.

In 1980s after the founding of New China, Xichuan was mainly engaged in mineral exploitation and metal processing. In recent years, it mainly focuses on electrolytic aluminum, ferroalloy smelting, automobile shock absorber processing and pharmaceutical industry. Because most of the industries are resource-based enterprises, the pollution is serious. In order to protect the water quality, the county closed a large number of polluting enterprises and mainly developed a "low-carbon economy". Xichuan is building an industrial cluster in Xichuan, which is located in Xianghua Town, Houpo Town and Jiuzhong Town. The traffic in this area is very convenient. Provincial Highway S335 runs through the whole territory, less than 30 kilometers away from Jiaozhi Railway and Erguang expressway, and less than 0/00 kilometers away from Nanyang Airport/KLOC. The connection between Ningxi Railway and Han Shi Railway and Neideng expressway both pass through the territory. The power supply is sufficient. There are 2 35KV substations, 4 1/10kV substations and 220KV substations1,with a planned area of 19.7km2 and a built-up area of 5. 1km2. The leading industries are new materials and chemical industry.

In 20 14, the output value of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 32 billion yuan, and the added value reached 7.03 billion yuan, ranking first in the city in terms of industrial comprehensive strength. Xi Aluminum and Xi Reduction were selected as the top 100 enterprises in the province, and Fu Sen Pharmaceutical was selected as the top 100 enterprises in the province. Focusing on "one county and one industry", we will focus on developing the auto parts processing industry. In the whole year, there were 75 affiliated enterprises 10, and the industry output value reached 9 billion yuan. The train shock absorber of Xijian Company passed the review of CSR Group, and the car shock absorber officially matched with Mercedes-Benz, and entered the commanding heights of the industry. In the eighth year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (1472), Confucianism was founded in the southeast of the old city, and in the period of Zheng De in the Ming Dynasty (1506 to 152 1), Yin and Yang studies (mainly teaching astronomy, meteorology, geography and other knowledge) and medicine were established. From Jiaqing to Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1736 to 1820), three academies, Chongwen, Wenxing and Kunyang, were established one after another. At the same time, the prosperous market towns in the county began to set up social studies, self-study and private schools. The teaching contents mainly include three classics, hundreds of surnames, four books and five classics, etc. In the late Qing dynasty, the academy was abolished and learning was promoted. According to the educational tenet of "loyalty to the monarch, respect for Confucius, respect for the public, respect for martial arts and respect for reality", the department has successively established junior and senior primary schools, girls' schools, middle schools and junior normal schools.

In the early years of the Republic of China, schools were changed into schools, and idols and temples were generally stripped off in the county to set up education. The purpose of education has changed from "cultivating sound personality and developing spirit" to "courtesy, righteousness and shame" as the school motto. In the 20th year of the Republic of China (193 1), Xichuan implemented local autonomy and made great progress in education. Central primary schools have been established in all districts, and primary schools have been established in all districts. Local autonomy requires schools at all levels to take the principle of "political education, health care" and train students to serve the society. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, more than 20 large and middle schools in Kaifeng, the provincial capital, and eastern Henan moved to Xichuan successively, which greatly promoted the education in Xichuan.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, influenced by various political movements and the relocation of immigrants in Danjiangkou reservoir area, the quality of education in Xichuan has been declining year by year. Later, with the normalization of society, education was improved to a certain extent. By 2008, there were 825 schools of all levels and types in the county, including 5 high schools, 30 junior high schools, 5 14 primary schools, 2 vocational schools and 6,544 adult technical schools. Xichuan No.1 Middle School, formerly known as 1905 "Xichuantang Middle School", has a history of one hundred years. The school is located in Xicheng District, Xichuan County. Xichuan Experimental Middle School (Xichuan No.2 Middle School) was founded in 1978, located in the east of Xichuan County. Jingziguan Affiliated Middle School of Henan University was founded in 190 1, located in Shuian City, Jingziguan Town. Xichuan No.5 Senior High School was relocated from the original Houpo Senior High School, and the school site is located in the former site of Xichuan No.1 Middle School. 1959 to 1978, affected by Danjiangkou water control project, the initial project was flooded 1 Xichuan county, 1 large market town (Liguanqiao) and 5 general market towns (location: Pukou, Sanguandian, Song Wan, Taohe and Madeng).

From 2009 to 20 1 1, the immigrant population of the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer in Xichuan County was 16547 1, involving 10 townships and 184 villages. After the implementation of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project, Xichuan is still the main flooded area and resettlement area, with the newly-increased flooded area of 144 square kilometers, accounting for 47.6% of the total flooded area in the reservoir area, and the flooded farmland of13.10,000 mu, accounting for 5 1% of the total flooded farmland in the reservoir area. The fertile farmland around the reservoir area was almost completely submerged. Three market towns were flooded with 548.7 kilometers of roads, and more than 30 relocated enterprises were shut down/kloc-0. The static loss of all kinds of submerged objects reached more than 9 billion yuan, and the main inundation index ranked first in 2 provinces and 6 counties and cities in the reservoir area, equivalent to the sum of 5 counties and cities in Hubei Province, and the economic and social development pattern was once again broken.

Danjiangkou Reservoir of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project began to store water on September 1 2065438. Danjiangkou Dam, which was built in the late 1950s, was heightened, and the elevation of the dam crest was raised from162m to176.6m. In the future, the normal water level of the reservoir will be raised from157m to170m.
