Brief introduction of Changbai railway

Changbai Railway, referred to as Tao Chang Railway for short, was opened to traffic on 1935 and demolished on 1946. 1958 resumed track laying, and 1972 was completed and opened to traffic. The line departs from Changchun Station and branches northwest via Changchun North Station. It passes through the hilly area between Wang Fu and Tujia, enters Guo Qian County and Songyuan City on the south bank of the Second Songhua River, passes through Da 'an City, An Guang City and Sheri City, and reaches Baicheng City, where it is connected with Tongrang Line, Pingqi Line and Baya Line. It is an important channel and single-track railway in the west of Jilin Province. The whole line is dominated by plain terrain.
