China Railway 16th Bureau Group has a glorious history of development. Formerly known as the Chinese People's Liberation Army Railway Corps Capital Division, it was established in 1952. It consists of the 11th Division, 13th Division and Railway Corps (temporary management office of the new railway corps line). 1984 was collectively transformed into the Ministry of Railways and renamed the 16th Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways. In 2000, it was managed by the Central Enterprise Working Committee and renamed China Railway.
