Huaian City Epidemic Prevention and Control Notice

According to the Provincial Health and Medical Commission’s announcement on November 29, there were no new confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia in our city from 0:00 to 24:00 on November 28 , 17 new cases of asymptomatic infections.

Asymptomatic infected persons 1-3: They are people returning to Huaihe from outside the province under closed-loop connection management, and were found at the centralized isolation point in Huai'an District. Before the quarantine, there was no trace of social activities in our city.

Asymptomatic infected person 4-11: Found at the centralized isolation point in Huaiyin District. Key places and points involved before the quarantine: Xuliu Town Mingzhu Garden Community, Xuelan Community, Liutang Henan Community, Xuliu Town Heping Road, Xuliu Village Cultural Square.

Asymptomatic infected person 12: A person who returned to Huaihe from outside the province under closed-loop connection management and was found at the centralized isolation point in Huaiyin District. Before the quarantine, there was no trace of social activities in our city.

Asymptomatic infected person 13: Found at the centralized isolation point in Hongze District. Key places and points involved before the quarantine: Ruite Community in Hongze District, Hongyan Hotel, Sijixian Supermarket, China Resources Suguo Supermarket, Lao Shao Fresh Butcher Shop, Chengjie Butcher Shop, and Yimi Sunshine Cake Shop.

Asymptomatic infected persons 14-15: They were people returning to Huaihe from outside the province under closed-loop connection management, and were found at the centralized isolation point in the ecological and cultural tourism area. Before the quarantine, there was no trace of social activities in our city.

Asymptomatic infected person 16: a person who returned to Huaihe from outside the province under closed-loop management and was found at the centralized isolation point in Xuyi County. Before the quarantine, there was no trace of social activities in our city.

Asymptomatic infected person 17: Found at Xuyi County centralized isolation point. Key places and points involved before the quarantine: Huiyuanju Community in Xuyi County.

The above asymptomatic infected persons have been transferred to the city’s designated hospitals for isolation treatment. Relevant places and relevant personnel currently investigated have implemented control measures.

At present, the epidemic situation is severe and complex. The general public is requested to strictly abide by the epidemic prevention and control regulations, actively cooperate with the implementation of epidemic prevention and control measures, actively participate in regional nucleic acid screening, enter various units and places with a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours, and take public transportation with a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. Use public transportation, and always maintain awareness of personal protection, wear masks, wash hands frequently, ventilate frequently, and maintain a safe social distance.

If any family members or relatives plan to come to Huaihe from other provinces or cities, please remind them to report through the "iHuai'an" APP or "Huaishangtong" WeChat applet or to the destination community, unit or hotel. After arriving in Huaihe, cooperate to complete the "landing inspection" and "3 inspections in 3 days". Before completing the "3 inspections in 3 days", strictly follow the "four don'ts". Once symptoms such as fever and cough occur, go to the nearest fever clinic for medical treatment in a timely manner, avoid taking public transport, take personal protection, and proactively and truthfully inform you of your recent activity and contact history. Those who intentionally conceal their itinerary or fail to report in time or complete "arrival inspection" and corresponding frequency nucleic acid testing as required, leading to the spread of the epidemic, shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities.
