What are the Big Four?

The four major financial accounting firms are PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Deloitte (DTT), KPMG and Ernst & Young (EY).

1, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC): composed of original Price Waterhouse and Coopers &; Lybrand) was merged from 1 July 9981.

2. Deloitte (DTT): Deloitte is headquartered in new york, USA. As early as 19 17, Deloitte had recognized the business opportunities in China. Set up an office in Shanghai, becoming the first foreign accounting firm to open a branch in this vibrant and prosperous big city.

3. KPMG: KPMG is a professional service organization with a global network, which specializes in providing audit, tax and consulting services.

The Swiss entity of KPMG International Cooperation Organization (hereinafter referred to as "KPMG International") is composed of independent members from all over the country, but all members are legally separated and different individuals. At present, KPMG China has 16 institutions in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Tianjin, Foshan, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region (including KPMG Enterprise Consulting (China) Co., Ltd.).

Ernst & Young (EY): Ernst & Young set up an office in Hongkong as early as 1973, and became the first international professional service company to set up an office in Beijing with the approval of China Municipal Government on 198 1. From 65438 to 0992, Ernst & Young established Ernst & Young Huaming Certified Public Accountants in Beijing.
