Longtian Town is located in the northeast of Longmen County, east longitude 1 14', north latitude 23 44', with a total area of 286 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Hepingling Town, Heyuan City in the east, Longcheng Street and Oilfield Forest Farm in Longmen County in the south. The military cap is divided into two parts, namely, Gedipai Town and longtan town in the west and Yaozu Township in Lantian in the north. The Town People's Government is located in Wangping Village, 80km away from Huizhou, 62km away from Guangzhou/KLOC-0 and 60km away from Nankun Mountain. In 2002, after Tianmeisu Town was merged into Wangping Town in May 438+065438+1 0, it governed 27 villagers' committees,1community neighborhood committees and 335 villagers' groups, and governed the original five villages, Jiangyan, Changkeng, Jiuliang, Shatang, Wang Bin, Lingjiaotang and Xipu in Wangping Town. According to the spirit of Guangdong Provincial Civil Affairs Department's Reply on Agreeing to Cancel Longcheng Sub-district Office of Longcheng Town, Longmen County (Guangdong Minfa [2005] No.29), Wangping Town was cancelled and Longtian Town was established. Longtian Town was formally established on August 6, 2005.

Longtian Town, located in the northwest of the county, is located in hilly and mountainous areas, and has jurisdiction over 4 village committees and 205 villagers' groups in wucun, Jiangyan, Changkeng, Laoliang, Shatang, Wang Bin, Lingjiaotang, Xipu, Shilongtou, Lidong, Shexia, Laiwu, Huangzhudong and Mei Tian, with a total area of 65,438.
